Tips for getting the best possible photos from Sprocket:
- Check for printer firmware updates
- Tap the Menu icon. Tap sprocket, then tap Printers.
- Tap your connected printer to view printer information.
- If no options to upgrade firmware appear, your printer firmware is up-to-date.
- If a firmware update appears, follow the prompts to update.

- Clean the printer rollers with a Smartsheet.
- Each Smartsheet is matched to the pack of paper it came in. Don't re-use Smartsheets, and always run the Smartsheet through your printer with each new pack of paper. Save your Smartsheet until the pack of paper is gone.
- If you have any streaks in your prints, run the Smartsheet from that paper pack back through the printer.

- Temporarily turn off Embedded Experiences for best print quality.
- Tap the Menu icon. Tap sprocket, then tap App Settings.
- Turn off Embedded Experiences. When you’re done printing, turn it back on to scan.

- Adjust photo settings in the app.
- Tap the photo, and then tap Edit.
- Tap the menu in the bar directly below the photo.
- Adjust brightness, saturation, and contrast for a better-quality print.

Chris Lim: I received mine yesterday and its totally WRONG! the HP Sprocket produce only Grainy pictures with very poor colours! not only it is so GRAINY when the pictures came out, there are shadows of the colours that do not come out well as if there's "ghost effect". Its literally a whole bunch of lines across the photo that comes out! best to buy LG.truely REGRET buying the HP sprocket! I wrote to HP and no reply from them. honestly, disappointed! REPLY
