Follow these steps to restore setup mode on HP Printers with a touchscreen display:
- With the printer on and in a ready state, go to the printer control panel and touch Wireless or the Wireless icon.
- Touch Settings, and then touch Restore Network Defaults or Restore Network Settings.
- If prompted, touch Yes to confirm that you want to restore the default settings.
- The default wireless settings are restored, and the printer is placed in setup mode when the power button light and blue wireless light start blinking.
- If it’s been more than two hours since performing the reset, you must perform these steps again to place the printer back into setup mode.

- orangevillepa: This is the only way I can make my HP print in black and white when the document is in color. It doesn't matter that the printer settings on my computer are set to draft B&W. It is ridiculous to have to do this every 2 hours. HP is very sneaky and dishonest just to make you buy more ink cartridges. I will not buy another HP.
